Taylor Swift has treated fans to some new lyrics.

The singer is due to release her new record '1989' on October 27 and this week she will upload some words from the album's songs online.

On Monday night (October 14) Swift took to Instagram to post a picture of some lyrics, which read:

"It's a new soundtrack/I could dance to this beat...forevermore."

The singer added a small drawing of what looks like a city skyscape.

The words seemingly come from the record's first track.

'1989' meanwhile will follow Swift's previous album 'Red', which was released in 2012.
