Taylor Swift's '1989' suffers online leak

Taylor Swift’s upcoming new album ‘1989’ has been leaked online.

Ahead of its release on Monday (October 27), ‘1989’ has been leaked via Zippyshare.

Information contained within the illegal download indicates that the leak comes from a source in France as in place of song titles is the French word for “track” (“piste”) and the album is listed as “album inconnu”, meaning “unknown album”.

Furthermore, the leak contains not just the 13 song track list as promised by Taylor Swift, but a further six songs: the three bonus numbers to be included on ‘1989’’s Target-exclusive release (‘Wonderland’, ‘You R in Love’ and ‘New Romance’), plus a trio of “songwriting memos” which track Swift’s writing process.

The album track ‘Blank Space’ briefly made its way onto YouTube before being quickly removed.

Fans of the ‘Shake It Off’ singer have spoken out against the leak. Some have pledged not to listen to ‘1989’ until the official release date and others have labelled the breach as “disrespectful” to Taylor.

Swift herself recently told Alan Carr: “I don't want to talk about leaks. It freaks me out.”
