Taylor Swift will perform at this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The iconic event is returning to the streets of New York City on November 27.

Swift joins previously announced acts such as British quartet The Vamps.

Coverage of the event will kick off at 9am ET on CBS in the US.

Global superstar Swift will head to the parade with new material to promote following the release of her new album '1989'.

Her next single is scheduled to be 'Blank Space', with its video going online on Monday (November 10).
