Taylor Swift's '1989' spends second week at No.1 in the US

Taylor Swift is enjoying a second week at No.1 in the States.

The singer's recent album '1989' previously hit the top spot in the US after selling almost 1.3m units in its first week.

Billboard have now confirmed that the record has topped the chart once again after selling 402,000 copies in its second week.

It is the second biggest sales week of the US in 2014 so far behind the record's opening week.

Calvin Harris meanwhile has achieved his best US first sales week after his new record 'Motion' debuted at No.5.

The Scot shifted 35,000 copies - over double the amount previous record '18 Months' sold in its first week.
