Taylor Swift no longer believes in 'happily ever afters'

Country-pop sensation Taylor Swift has opened up about the dating world and confessed that her opinions and beliefs have changed significantly over the past year.

Speaking to Lucky magazine, the songstress explained that she doesn't have a naïve view of love or relationships anymore and no longer believes in the fairytale notion of 'happily ever after':

"Wow, I really used to think that happily ever after was a thing. Not in those simple terms… I think that no matter what you find in terms of happiness and compatibility, there's always going to be a struggle attached to it. I used to believe that you find the one and that's it: Nothing's difficult after that."

"But then again, I know nothing now. I know legitimately nothing about lasting relationship experiences because I don't have them."

The 'Blank Space' star, meanwhile, was just named the recipient of the inaugural Dick Clark Award for Excellence at the American Music Awards, which will be held this coming Sunday (November 23) at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.
