Taylor Swift expected to trump Fifth Harmony in US albums chart

Taylor Swift's '1989' is predicted to spend an eleventh non-consecutive week at No.1 in the US.

The record is currently lording over the chart at the moment and Billboard expect the 2014 effort to sell over 95,000 units this week to maintain its top spot.

If this is accomplished, '1989' will have spent the same amount of non-consecutive weeks - eleven - as her 2008 album 'Fearless'.

This also means that Fifth Harmony's 'Reflection', which has triumphed over the US iTunes chart this week, will probably miss out on reaching No.1.

They are expected to shift 75,000 copies of the album in its first week.
