Taylor Swift: 'I hid from police in the bathroom at a party'

'Shake It Off' superstar Taylor Swift has revealed that she attended a party thrown by 'Uptown Funk' sensation Mark Ronson, but it was broken up by police.

She talked about the incident in a new interview with BBC Radio 1 and admitted that she dragged Ed Sheeran, who was also at the shindig, into a bathroom to avoid trouble:

"That made us feel so cool! We had to hide in a bathroom. I grabbed Ed and I was like, 'Come here, come with me.' Who would have thought that I was the one who knew how to get going? [Hozier is] a tall dude and to see him standing behind a door is an odd sight. A lot of weird things happened that night."

Swift, meanwhile, has just donated $50,000 from sales of her song 'Welcome To New York' to New York City's public schools. Devora Kaye, press secretary of the NY Department of Education, told Billboard that she was touched by the generous gift: "We're deeply appreciative of this kind gesture to donate her proceeds of the single 'Welcome to New York' to benefit NYC public schools."
