Taylor Swift has reportedly bought porn-related domain names in a pre-emptive effort to stop fake nude pictures circulating online.

From June 1, anyone can buy new adult domains such as .porn or .sucks - but some celebrities and companies have seemingly been given an early chance to buy domain names.

CNN report that Taylor Swift has snapped up TaylorSwift.porn and TaylorSwift.adult to deter fakers from buying the domains.

Microsoft has also bought Office.adult and Office.porn.

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) decided in 2011 to expand the variety of website suffixes to make domains more relevant to the subject's field.
