Taylor Swift on how she and Ed Sheeran became so close

'I Wish You Would' sensation Taylor Swift has revealed that her friendship with Ed Sheeran was cemented with a special songwriting experience that took place in a hotel room in Arizona.

Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine recently, the superstar explained that writing 'Lego House' with the British musician was an amazing bonding moment and they've been close pals ever since:

"I was so intrigued by this song that I reached out to Ed to write for my album 'Red'. I loved the cadence of the pre-chorus, 'And it's dark in a cold December, but I got you to keep me waa-arm.' We wrote in a Phoenix hotel room, ate In-N-Out burgers and essentially became a permanent fixture in each other's lives."

Swift, meanwhile, has just been chosen by Maxim magazine to top its annual Hot 100 list for the very first time and she admitted that it's an honour: "It's really nice and such an incredible compliment. This year has been my favourite year of my life so far. I got to make an album exactly the way I wanted to make it. I got to put it out exactly the way that I dreamed of putting it out."
