Taylor Swift on working with Ryan Adams after '1989' covers album

Taylor Swift says she could be keen to collaborate with Ryan Adams after he released a '1989' covers album.

The singer-songwriter recently put his own spin on Swift's smash hit 2014 album before unleashing the record online this week.

Adams was being interviewed by Zane Lowe on Beats 1 on Monday (September 21) when Swift 'surprise' called the show.

She said of the covers record: "You can tell he was in a very different place emotionally when he made the album that I did."

When asked meanwhile if she would want to perform live with Adams or collaborate with him, the pop star said:

"I'm open to anything, honestly."

Swift added that she often hears Adams' '1989' melodies in her head now instead of hers.
