Taylor Swift sees fifth song from '1989' reach No.1 on Billboard chart

Taylor Swift has now enjoyed five No.1 tracks on Billboard's Pop Songs chart from the same album.

The singer released her current effort '1989' in 2014 and it has spawned a number of hit singles.

The US star's latest track 'Wildest Dreams' has just jumped from No.2 to No.1 on the Pop Songs chart.

That means that it is the fifth song from '1989' to reach the top of the chart.

'Shake It Off', 'Blank Space', 'Style' and 'Bad Blood' have all topped the list previously.

'1989' is the second album in the chart's 23-year history to provide five No.1s.

Katy Perry's 2010 hit record 'Teenage Dream' had six No.1s.
