A young fan who whose wished to hear Taylor Swift sing before she lost her hearing has met the star.

Jorja Hope from Maitland in Australia has a progressive condition that means she will one day go deaf.

After learning of the diagnosis, the schoolgirl said: "I won't be able to hear Taylor Swift sing."

Sydney radio station Nova 96.9 later stepped in to create a campaign for Swift to meet Hope.

Her big moment came on Saturday (November 28) when Hope met the US star before a concert at the city's ANZ Stadium.

She hung out with Swift before checking out her 1989 tour show.

Hope said: "She was very, very amazing and very pretty.

"I didn't expect her to be as tall as she was."
