Taylor Swift has topped a list of the most charitable celebrities for the fourth year in a row.

The singer is No.1 on DoSomething.org's annual Celebs Gone Good rundown.

They use examples such as a $50,000 donation to a young leukemia patient and Swift giving New York City schools 25,000 books.

Miley Cyrus is No.2 on the list as a result of the singer launching the Happy Hippie Foundation.

The organisation deals with youths in areas such as homelessness and LGBT.

Beyoncé is third on the list, with Angelina Jolie at No.4.
