Taylor Swift to unveil Madame Tussauds likeness on October 27

Country-pop singer Taylor Swift will be present at the unveiling of her waxwork likeness on October 27.

Swift posed for the artwork in 2009 and says she will appear at Madame Tussauds in Times Square, New York, to see the statue officially uncovered.

Her waxwork double is encrusted with more than 2,000 Swarovski crystals and holds a Taylor Guitar.

Madame Tussauds has immortalised thousands of the world’s most famous people since Marie Tussaud opened her first museum in London back in 1835.

Among the most recent additions to the global Tussauds collection are UK comedian Russell Brand, American pop star Rihanna and actress Eva Longoria Parker.
