Taylor Swift's second song from the official soundtrack of the new movie 'The Hunger Games' has appeared online ahead of the film's release next week. 

Although the motion picture won't hit theatres until March 23, 'Eyes Open' has found its way onto the internet and is very different from 'Safe & Sound', which is also by Swift and features in the film, too.

This new track has a rock edge and is a far cry from the aforementioned ethereal yet melancholic ballad, which is a collaboration with The Civil Wars.

Lyrically, it mimics the somewhat disturbing content of 'The Hunger Games' as Swift sings "Everybody's waiting for you to break down/Everybody's watching to see the fallout/Even when you're sleeping, keep your eyes open."

The film's soundtrack will be released on Tuesday, March 20 and you can listen to 'Eyes Open' in full here:
