Taylor Swift clears up wedding crashing rumours: 'It was a big misunderstanding'

Superstar Taylor Swift has spoken out about how she allegedly crashed the wedding of a Kennedy family member.

Back in August, Victoria Gifford Kennedy accused the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer, who is currently dating Conor Kennedy, of turning up uninvited to her daughter Kyle Kennedy's nuptials and upstaging the bride.

In the new edition of Rolling Stone magazine, Swift explained that she never intended to cause any bad feelings and would certainly never dream of ruining anyone's big day, and insisted it was all a misunderstanding:

"I have no idea what happened there. I think that story was based on the biggest misunderstanding, because I would never knowingly show up somewhere that I thought I wasn't invited to... And I would never want to upstage anybody."

In the same interview, she revealed that she discards rules when it comes to lovebecause she feels it should be something all-encompassing and intense: "The way I look at love is you have to follow it, and fall hard, if you fall hard. You have to forget about what everyone else thinks."

"It has to be an us-against-the-world mentality. You have to make it work by prioritising it, and by falling in love really fast, without thinking too hard. If I think too hard about a relationship I'll talk myself out of it. ...I have rules for a lot of areas of my life. Love is not going to be one of them." Listen to Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' below:
