Taylor Swift reveals Diet Coke deal: 'It's going to be an extraordinary ride'

Country-pop sweetheart Taylor Swift has announced a deal with soft drinks giant Coca Cola.

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' hitmaker revealed the exciting partnership in a video post on her official website, which was entitled "Some Extraordinary News", and explained that Diet Coke will sponsor her upcoming headlining arena tour:

"I wanted to share some news with you, because we're actually going to be making it official with one of the great loves of my life - Diet Coke. I wanted to tell you guys first. We've been in conversations about this partnership that's going to include so many fun things having to do with the tour, having to do with Diet Coke in general - behind the scenes for a commercial shoot."

Swift added: "I really can't wait to begin all this and I think it's going to be an extraordinary ride. I just wanted to tell you guys first because you guys have been so amazing - thank you for everything and I'll talk to you soon."

Her 'Red' tour, which will be supported by singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, is due to kick off on March 13 in Nebraska. Watch Swift's video announcement here:
