Taylor Swift hopes to win ACM votes by sharing childhood photos

Songstress Taylor Swift has been nominated for one of the most coveted titles in this year's Academy of Country Music Awards and she has shared a cute picture of her as a 6-year-old to try and win fans' votes.

Writing on social networking site Twitter recently, the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' hitmaker told her 25.4 million followers: "ACM voting for Entertainer of the Year has officially started: let 6-year-old me convince you."

The photograph she chose to upload shows her holding a yellow plastic baseball bat in the air while squinting into the sun (shown below).

Swift is also up for Female Vocalist of the Year, Video of the Year, and Album of the Year (for 'Red') at the ACMs, which will take place on Sunday, April 7 in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, the hitmaker showed her appreciation for the newly-reformed Fall Out Boy's new music and tweeted: "I've listened to "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark" by @FallOutBoy 43 times today." Watch Swift's new music video for '22' here:
