Taylor Swift believes that she will eventually “branch out” to writing lyrics that are not about herself.

The singer is well known for penning huge hits based on her own life experiences and love life, but reckons that one day she will be able to take on another point of view.

Speaking to Look magazine, Swift said: “I’m sure at some point in my career I'll branch out and do albums that relate to other peoples' stories or have a different overall theme. But I'll always write from the heart and I'll continue to write about love, because romance is something we are all looking for."

The ’22’ singer says that she keeps a notebook by her bed to record thoughts that are fresh in her mind and that she often thinks about her life in the form of lyrics.

"It's when a lot of the good ideas come," she said. "When I'm travelling on a plane or in a car, I'll start thinking, too. I think of things in the form of lyrics." Watch Taylor Swift’s video for ‘22’ below:
