Taylor Swift on why she doesn't Google herself: 'I don't have thick skin'

'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' songstress Taylor Swift has revealed that she refuses to read stories about herself because she's concerned that she might come across something negative.

She confessed that it's stressful to see something bad about yourself in the media or online, so she actively avoids Googling herself as she doesn't want to deal with the breakdown of self-confidence that would probably follow:

"I don't have thick skin. If somebody says something mean, it will hurt my feelings. Anything bad that I read about myself, I'm just like... You can't Google yourself or your self esteem will just go [down]."

Swift recently performed at the Staples Center in Los Angeles (August 19) and brought UK 'X Factor' finalist Cher Lloyd out on stage with her for a rendition of 'Want U Back'. She then shared a photo from the duet this evening (pictured below) and accompanied it with the caption:

"I think it's important to note that @CherLloyd and I are actually both in mid-air in this picture." Watch Swift and Lloyd performing together here:
