A number of big name acts have been announced to present awards at this year's MTV VMAs.

The glitzy ceremony will take place on Sunday (August 25) in Brooklyn, New York as the music industry celebrates video-making.

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez are among the latest batch of stars confirmed to present gongs at the VMAs.

They will be joined by Jared Leto, Emeli Sandé and A$AP Rocky.

Drake has also been announced to perform at the ceremony, joining a star-studded line-up which includes slots from Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.

Justin Timeberlake and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis meanwhile are both nominated for six VMAs each. Watch Taylor Swift perform with Cher Lloyd below:
