Taylor Swift lands 6 nominations at the 2013 Country Music Association Awards

This year's Country Music Association Awards will be held in Nashville on November 6 and it has been announced today (September 10) that 'I Knew You Were Trouble' beauty Taylor Swift is up for an impressive 6 prizes.

The superstar has been nominated in the categories of Entertainer of the Year, Single of the Year, Album of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Musical Event of the Year, and Music Video of the Year.

Writing on her official Twitter page this afternoon, Swift expressed her excitement at the news: "6 CMA NOMINATIONS!!!!!! ALBUM AND ENTERTAINER!!! What an excellent way to start the day. Thank you, guys. And thank you CMA. #CMAawards."

Other stars to have been recognised include Miranda Lambert who earned herself 5 nominations, her husband Blake Shelton who also scored 5, and 'Hey Pretty Girl' newcomer Kip Moore (pictured below). Watch Swift perform 'Sad Beautiful Tragic' recently here:
