The Animal Farm in association with Ernie Ball bring ten emerging guitar bands to the biggest UK music business showcase event in the calendar, Alternative Escape, part of The Great Escape music festival and conference in Brighton on 19 - 21 May.

ESSIE is an alt/rock guitar player and vocalist from Perth, Western Australia. Her signature sound is a confident mix of bluesy guitar chops and soaring vocals.“The proud owner of an awesome set of pipes”(Drunkenwerewolf.com).

Graces Collide use high energy heavy riffage, coupled with beautiful ballads to explore the feelings that burn inside all of us, With catchy melodies and lyrics to back them up. Priding themselves on their live show and their after partying, they are an evening of rock and roll debauchery not to be missed.

Baptiste met while studying music at university in Bath and since relocating, are now operating out of their home studio in the East End of London where they make forward-looking hooky pop, drawing inspiration from London, relationships and an increasingly unpredictable social climate.

Rocheii combine epic, shimmering guitars with a funked up rhythm section to create a jagged, left field British pop sound. With Calvin's breathy, raspy vocal style and with ‘melodies coming out of their pores’ (Good Froth Blog) Rocheii have ‘an epic soundscape that sounds brilliant from first track to last' (Backseatmafia).

France are a 3 piece Pop/Rock band with two lead singers, punchy bass lines and insanely catchy choruses. The band will release their debut album 'Sparked Out' through Animal Farm in late 2016.
