Brandon Flowers: 'The Killers' last record wasn't good enough'

Singer Brandon Flowers believes that The Killers' last album, 'Battle Born', "wasn't good enough" so he's hoping they can bring it back with a new record in the near future.

The star told the NME that the main issue at the moment is getting the other bandmates to agree with his vision in order to create new music together:

"Once [the band] all get on the same page, it'll work. I need to persuade them to like the same things as I do. I tell you, recently Dave (Keuning) has really shown a new interest in being the guitar player for The Killers. I don't know if he saw [the quote]. I hope I didn't upset him."

Bandmate Ronnie Vannucci Jr, however, isn't so sure that another album is on the cards for The Killers as he told the magazine that they're all fulfilling their musical passions with respective side projects:

"I don't fear the end of The Killers - if it's over, it's over. We scratch those [creative] itches [with side-projects]. I get a good feeling knowing Brandon is out there doing that too. I hope the other two do it. It gets weird sometimes when we starting talking about our s**t with the other two."
