The Killers reveal their 2011 Christmas single

Las Vegas rockers The Killers have announced that they will unveil an exciting single and EP to celebrate the festive period but they will also be giving back to by donating proceeds to RED, an AIDS awareness charity.

The 'Somebody Told Me' stars took to their Twitter page last night, November 29, and explained that to commemorate Christmas this year they will release a special track called 'The Cowboys' Christmas Ball':

"Dec.1st is just around the corner, and you know what that means.. Our 6th Christmas Single is on its way."

The six-track '(RED) Christmas EP' is available to buy now (November 30) from iTunes and during the first 90 days, all profits from its sale will revert to the RED.

On the EP track, 'Joseph, Better You Than Me', The Killers are joined by Elton John and Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys.

The video for 'The Cowboys' Christmas Ball' will premiere on December 1 but for now, check out the single's artwork and the official audio below:
