The Script achieve their third No. 1 UK album

The Script have topped the UK albums chart for the third time in their career with their latest release ‘No Sound Without Silence’.

The Irish band previously reached No. 1 in 2010 with ‘Science & Faith’ and 2008 with their self-titled debut.

Another new entry to the album chart comes from Barbara Streisand. The songstress has charted at No. 2 with ‘Partners’ – an album made up of duets with the likes of Michael Buble, Josh Groban and John Legend.

Last week’s chart-topping album, Sam Smith’s ‘In The Lonely Hour’, has now dropped to No. 3.

Chris Brown’s ‘X’ is another new entry at No. 4 and is not to be confused with Ed Sheeran’s ‘X’ (pronounced “multiply”) which sits at No. 5 this week.

New entries to the rest of the top ten come from Slash at No. 7 with ‘World On Fire’, Train at No. 9 with ‘Bulletproof Picasso’, and Catfish & The Bottlemen’s debut LP ‘The Balcony’ at No. 10.

Further new chart entries include Counting Crows at No. 15 with ‘Somewhere Under Wonderland’ and Vance Joy’s ‘Dream Your Life Away’ at No. 20.
