Danny O'Donoghue turned down 'massive' movie role: 'The Script is number one'

The Script star Danny O'Donoghue has revealed that he was offered a voice role in a "massive" movie.

However, the singer turned down the part because it wouldn't have been fair on his band duties.

Speaking to Bang Showbiz, the Irishman said that he regularly gets film offers - but they usually get rejected due to time.

He said: "There have been loads of offers coming in to do stuff in the States but I just don't have the time. There's been some great things.

"There was one which I can't say exactly what it was but it was for a massive animated cartoon, but it would have taken four months out of my life to do, and that's the next four months of my life right now. So I'd go off and do something that really just pleases me and cancel the tour and f**k the band off, you can't do that you know?

"But loads of stuff [is in the pipeline]. We'll all be spreading our wings and branching out into things, but The Script is number one, always will be."
