Scooter Braun on The Wanted's split: "People shouldn't jump to conclusions"

Scooter Braun has defused speculation about The Wanted's hiatus announcement by insisting that people shouldn't "jump to conclusions".

The music mogul has been managing the British act, but they confirmed on Wednesday (January 22) that they are going on a hiatus after their upcoming tour is done.

Some Wanted fans, however, have criticised Braun and suggested that he was to blame for the group's downfall.

Speaking on Twitter, the manager said: "I think people shouldn't jump to conclusions. The guys asked us to support them in a decision to take some time. Simple."

He added: "People love to assume and will want to always pt fingers but u always just need to do what is right. Push forward and time will judge. The story has just begun to be told :)."

Braun meanwhile has another controversy on his plate after news broke today (January 23) that his flagship act Justin Bieber was arrested in Miami for DUI and drag racing.
