The Wanted not planning to play more gigs

The Wanted have admitted that they have probably played their last gig for the time being.

The band revealed earlier this year that they would be going on an indefinite hiatus after they finished tours of UK and North America in the spring.

However, the group performed at Birmingham's Fusion Festival on Sunday (August 31) as a four-piece due to Nathan Sykes' previous work commitments.

Speaking to The Sun, Jay McGuiness confirmed that they have no other live music plans.

He said: "We're not booked for anything else. We have no other plans."

Earlier this year, the singer suggested that they might sporadically perform live throughout 2014, saying:

"I think there's going to be more private gigs that we'll be doing throughout the year still. A lot of promoters have probably assumed we've split and won't book us, but we're still open to gigs we're all available for."
