The Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran: 'When the time is right, we'll get back together'

The Wanted star Siva Kaneswaran believes the group will reunite in the future.

The band announced earlier this year that they would be going on an indefinite hiatus.

Several reasons have been bandied about regarding why they decided to take time out, but they reunited briefly in August for Birmingham's Fusion festival.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Kaneswaran said that The Wanted's break doesn't mean that the group are dead in the water.

He said: "Everyone thinks that we've split but we never said that. It genuinely is a hiatus. I believe one day, when the time is right, we'll get back together."

However, he added: "It'd have to be five of us or nothing."

Despite Kaneswaran performing with the group in August - which saw Nathan Sykes sit out due to scheduling issues - the singer is quoted as saying that he hasn't spoken to his bandmates since the spring.

He said: "I haven't spoken to the boys since [their last tour ended in May]. I don't know what's going on with them if I'm being honest."
