Nathan Sykes open to future Wanted reunion despite going solo

Nathan Sykes hasn't ruled out the possibility of The Wanted reforming in the future despite the singer announcing a solo career.

The Brit has today (January 26) revealed plans to go it alone, with a first single due to land in the spring.

The Wanted went on an indefinite hiatus last year, but Sykes told The Sun that there could be a future for the group somewhere down the line.

He said: "No-one's really angry with each other, to my understanding anyway. It happened naturally, we all just felt it was slowing down a bit.

"We had an honest conversation and said we should have something to come back to. We didn't want to be one of those bands that go on and on and people think 'God, are they still here?'.

"No-one knows what the future holds but I don't see any reason why The Wanted can't one day come back."

Sykes' debut solo album meanwhile is expected to land before the end of 2015.
