The Wanted adore female attention

Popular boy band The Wanted are due to kick off their headlining tour on March 28, and are looking forward to seeing their female fans "pop" with excitement.

The 'Heart Vacancy' singers will perform their first date in Manchester and can't wait for the deafening reaction they've become used to. Max George explained:

"Some of the girls look like they’re going to pop. Others cry and stuff."

“I just hope it’s not us hitting wrong notes that makes people cry.”

He also added that the venues they are set to play in are mostly theatres, and the band are keen to see how their sound and style will translate in a more personal setting:

“The thing I’m most looking forward to is the curtains going up, the first note of the first song starting and then the screams kicking in. We’re playing theatres so it’ll be quite intimate. But I think the screaming might mean it’s not that intimate.”
