The Wanted praise "unbelievable" gig, say it was "one for the record books"

The Wanted's current tour of the USA has been fantastic so far, but the lads have now told fans that the most recent date was "one for the record books".

The lads performed at a sold out gig last night, February 2, in Salt Lake City and were met by hundreds of fans who crowded around their tour bus asking for autographs and photos.

After their set, the 'Glad You Came' stars took to social networking site Twitter to thank their American fans for such a fantasic time and shared photos of the memorable evening with their followers:

"Salt Lake City! That was one for the record books. Thanks for an amazing #soldout show!"

Tom Parker added: "Unbelievable gig!! Salt lake city ROCKED!! X"

Once the U.S. dates come to an end on February 8, The Wanted will return to the UK for a headlining arena tour that will be known as The Code.
