The Wanted endured a stage invasion at the hands of a gaggle of giddy girls whilst performing on the Jay Leno show in America.

The UK boyband are back in the US as they build upon the buzz they have created in the country over the past couple of months.

They performed their single 'Glad You Came' on the Jay Leno chat show and ended the song with a number of rowdy girls alongside them on stage.

It's just the latest episode of overzealous fans mobbing The Wanted, with an eager crowd recently meeting them at a Los Angeles airport.

Justin Bieber meanwhile tweeted the band a message of support after hearing that they "Killed it" on the Jay Leno show. He said:

"Heard u fools killed it on leno tonight. gonna check it out. well done mates! ha."
