The Wanted are set to perform their new single, 'Chasing The Sun', on NBC's popular vocal talent show The Voice later this month.

Over the weekend (April 7), the lads tweeted the news to their excited followers and wrote:

"We are also excited to announce that we'll be performing #CHASINGtheSUN LIVE for the first time on #TheVoice @NBCtheVoice on 17th of April!"

Heartthrob Tom Parker also added: "Can you believe it!! It's what I've been dying to tell you all for so long! Can't believe we're doing TheVoiceUSA...mental!! And we are performing our new single Chasing the Sun on there for the first time!! Arrrrghhh xx"

Although the track only received its radio debut last week, it's already proven to be popular with the group's fans and has featured heavily in Twitter's top ten trending topics list since its unveiling on April 5.
