The Wanted share outlandish fan experience stories

The Wanted have opened up on what it's like to be a boyband with legions of dedicated fans.

The Belfast Telegraph quotes the lads as saying that they have all encountered some pretty odd behaviour from their fans.

Siva Kaneswaran said that he once had a girl approach him painted in all blue because he had previously said he liked the film Avatar. He said:

"One girl entirely covered herself in [blue] body paint because I'm a fan of Avatar. She was fully Na'vi'd out."

Siva's bandmate Nathan Sykes meanwhile revealed that he was once gifted a loved-up pack of cards from an eight-year-old girl. He said:

"I was given a pack of playing cards: '52 reasons why I love you'. It was from a fan who was about [eight-years-old]."

As previously reported, The Wanted recently spoke about what it was like to tour with Britney Spears - adding that they weren't allowed to watch her walk by them.
