The lads are currently working hard on new material for their upcoming album and have been keeping their fans updated on their progress via social networking site Twitter.

Last night (May 14), Sykes explained that what they've been creating so far is fantastic and the group can't wait to share it with their followers around the world:

"Can't believe the music that has just been made in the studio today #makinghistory!? Listening to some of the demos the boys were writing last week makes me very excited for the album!!"

Earlier today he added: "Think @scooterbraun might go insane when he hears what me and @cjbaran are creating in the studio!!"

The Wanted's Tom Parker also tweeted about the boyband's activities and revealed they spent part of this morning at a photoshoot:

"What's up people? Photoshoot today :) then studio later. The albums really coming along x"
