The Wanted will be the first act to hit the stage at this year's Capital FM Summertime Ball.

The 'All Time Low' group will open the sold-out Wembley Stadium event in London on June 9.

It will be the fourth time they will have played the pop concert - but they look set to play without Nathan Sykes, who is recovering from a throat operation.

This year's Capital FM Summertime Ball will also see the likes of Robbie Williams, Taylor Swift and Psy perform.

The bill also includes acts such as will.i.am, Olly Murs, Jessie J and many more as the world of pop comes together in the sunshine.

The event meanwhile will be hosted by Justin Timberlake.
