The Wanted: 'We were one of the last bands to be photographed with Amy Winehouse'

Singer Siva Kaneswaran, of The Wanted fame, has revealed that his boyband were one of the last musical acts to have their photograph taken (pictured left) with the late Amy Winehouse as she was at a gig they headlines.

Back in 2011, the 'Glad You Came' heartthrobs performed at Camden's well-loved Roundhouse venue for the iTunes Festival and their set was supported by the 'Back To Black' star's goddaughter, Dionne Bromfield

Talking about meeting Winehouse, Kaneswaran explained that she looked tired and he couldn't believe the news that she died just a few days later: "We were the last band to have our picture taken with Amy. You could tell she loved Dionne so much, it’s just so sad. She just looked like she wanted to sleep and then three days later she was gone."

The lads' new reality TV show, 'The Wanted Life', is set to premiere in the UK later this evening (June 24) at 9pm on the E! channel. Speaking about the programme recently, Max George explained he had a scary near death experience and was pulled out from underwater by one of their cameramen.
