The Wanted have confessed that they didn't really like their latest single at first.

The UK-Irish pop group released the track 'Walks Like Rihanna' recently and its shiny pop nature felt somewhat different than the band's usual output.

Speaking to Top of the Pops magazine, Max George admitted that they initially had reservations about the song's style, revealing:

"This may sound weird, but it took us a few listens to 'Walks Like Rihanna' before we knew we liked it. It had to grow on us at first because it's a lot poppier than our usual stuff."

The track was met with mixed reviews upon release, but it managed to land at No.4 on the UK singles chart.

It is expected to feature on The Wanted's forthcoming third album 'Word of Mouth', which will be unleashed on September 16.
