The Wanted tease 'big news' coming in 2014

UK based boyband The Wanted have revealed that they are due to make an "exciting" announcement next year.

Writing on their official Twitter page earlier this afternoon, the 'Chasing The Sun' heartthrobs explained to their fans that 2014 is set to bring some big news:

"Big news in the new year coming. Excited to share. Happy holidays."

While they were online, they also took time out to congratulate Canadian sensation Justin Bieber on the release of his new movie, 'Believe', which dropped on Christmas Day: "Love to our friend @justinbieber for his new movie #Believe coming out in the UK today. Look forward to seeing the film. Congrats."

Earlier this month, The Wanted confirmed that they had cancelled all mainland Europe tour dates for next spring due to "unforeseen circumstances": "To all our fans in mainland Europe, we're really sorry but due to some unforeseeable changes in our scheduling, we're having to cancel our European tour dates in February/March."

"Rest assured all tickets are refundable, and we do hope to see you again really soon! The UK & US legs of the tour are not affected. Thanks for your ongoing support. Lots of love, The Wanted xx."
