The xx star Romy Madley Croft has confirmed her engagement to girlfriend and fashion designer Hannah Marshall.

The musician revealed the news on Instagram on Monday (January 2) with a photo of herself kissing her partner. She added: "Last night, a very special person asked me a very beautiful question....I said yes! 💍💕💕💕💕💕💕 @hannahmarshall_______."

The xx meanwhile recently treated fans to a new song called 'Say Something Loving'. The track is the latest cut to be lifted from their upcoming third album 'I See You', which is set to land on January 13.
