The xx set to beat Little Mix to UK albums chart No.1

The xx are on course to land their second UK No.1 album this week with their latest effort 'I See You'.

The Official Charts Company confirmed that the record has sold 10,000 more units this week than Little Mix's 'Glory Days', which rests at No.2. The xx's first No.1 in the UK was with their sophomore record 'Coexist' in 2012.

At No.3 on the midweek update is the La La Land soundtrack, which rises 96 places, while Bonobo's new entry 'Migration' is in at No.4. Pete Tong's 'Classic House' drops three places to No.5.

Rick Wakeman’s new effort 'Piano Portraits' is straight in at No.6 and Wiley's 'Godfather' debuts at No.8. The Flaming Lips' 'Oczy Mlody' enters the chart at No.27.
