Tulisa declares the rumours about Cheryl's X Factor return are "rubbish"

Tulisa Contostavlos has rubbished claims that Cheryl Cole will be returning to her X Factor seat for the final this year.

The 23-year-old has reassured fans that she will be on the judging panel, not Cole, until the very end:

"I can 100% reassure fans that I will be sitting in that judge’s chair in the final. These stories? I know they are a load of rubbish. I know for a fact from the conversations I’ve had with Cheryl that it’s all a load of rubbish."

While the N-Dubz singer was clearing up those rumours to the Daily Star, she also added that her and Cole are friends, but they are not best friends:

“I hate it when people say ‘Oh my God we’re new best friends and that I’m morphing into her’. We do talk. It’s as simple as that. I haven’t spoken to her for a bit because she has been out in LA but we will meet up when she gets back. We are just cool. That’s the word for me and Cheryl. We sat down and had ‘the conversation’ at her birthday party. We said ‘It’s gonna go crazy’ and ‘People are going to make up rumour after rumour’".

Contostavlos will be mentoring the 'Groups' category this year and you will see her welcome groups like The Keys and 2 Shoes to her house in Greece tonight on ITV at 7.30pm.
