Tulisa has revealed that she used a novel approach to ID for buying alchohol - a magazine cover.

The 'Young' singer told The Sun that she was in a shop buying wine  - but the N-Dubz star didn't have any proof of age on her.

She had to resort to using a magazine cover to confirm her identity, with the shopkeeper ultimately accepting the ID. She said:

"I didn't have my ID so he wouldn't give it to me. There were all these mags with me on the front cover so I pulled out one, slapped it on the desk and said 'Look, there’s my ID. Can I have the wine?' He gave it to me."

As previously reported, Tulisa's father recently went on record to say that he reckons Tulisa would be willing to give up fame to settle down with the right man.
