Tulisa has blamed her cousin Dappy for their recent war of words, describing him as an attention seeker.

The 23-year-old, who yesterday revealed her devastation over the sex-tape scandal, told Top Of The Pops magazine that her N-Dubz bandmate was responsible for starting an argument between the pair on Twitter over their lack of contact in recent months.

She said: “Dappy just goes out looking for a bit of attention sometimes. He went on twitter ranting that I don't call him, trying to cause a stir, when actually it was the other way round. I put him in his place and he phoned me the next day!

"The thing with us is that we don't speak for six months and then we'll see each other and nothing's changed. It doesn't make a difference."

However, the X-Factor judge, who will perform her debut single, ‘Young,’ on Britain’s Got Talent next month, admitted that she still misses the banter with Fazer and Dappy now that she’s working on her solo career, adding: “They make me laugh and I do miss it. Every day is a journey with those two, as you know."
