Tulisa Contostavlos has denied that she left Hawaii because of Dappy's arrival.

The singer has been out in the US state recently filming a new music video and catching some sun rays.

Tabloid reports suggested that Tulisa cut short her trip because N-Dubz bandmate and cousin Dappy had arrived in Hawaii, with the 'Young' singer not wanting to deal with him.

However, Tulisa took to Twitter this morning (August 2) to dispel the rumours, stating that she left to record in Los Angeles. She said:

"I did not leave hawai cus of dappy that's ridiculous, he arrived 2 shoot his own vid the day after mine. I left 4 a studio session in LA."

Tulisa had previously tweeted her gratitude over being able to travel to somewhere like Hawaii and thanked her fans for supporting her.
