Tulisa calls Cher Lloyd bottling "adult bullying"

Tulisa Contostavlos has lamented a bottling incident which marred Cher Lloyd's set at the V Festival on Sunday (August 19).

As previously reported, Lloyd took to Twitter after her gig to express her disappointment at being bottled and booed.

Lloyd temporarily walked off after a glass bottle was apparently thrown on stage, but she later returned.

Speaking to Capital FM, Tulisa said that the incident amounted to "adult bullying" and that people don't really realise that Lloyd is only a 19-year-old. She said:

"I just call it adult bullying, it's ridiculous. You think when you get older people get over that sort of stuff and people forget how young she is and vulnerable."

Tulisa continued: "I get bottles thrown at me all the time, but I'm so used to it that I'm just ducking and diving and carry on singing. You know me, I'll have a go at the person who does it anyway so it doesn't really bother me as much."
