Tulisa Contostavlos has expressed her desire to see Cheryl Cole rejoin the X Factor.

The Girls Aloud star was a popular member of the judging panel on the UK reality show, but she left after the 2010 series concluded.

Tulisa was drafted onto the panel as part of a number of personnel changes that also saw Kelly Rowland join the team.

It has been rumoured recently that X Factor supremo Simon Cowell wants Cole to return to the show - something which Tulisa is game for. She said:

"I think Cheryl's amazing and the nation absolutely loves her. I loved watching her when she was on the show before I joined it, so of course I would love to see her back.

The 'Young' star added: "I think she's brilliant."

The final of this year's X Factor is due to take place on December 8, with Jahmene Douglas the favourite to win.
