YAMAHA MUSIC AND RUACH CITY CHURCH GEAR UP FOR THE FIRST EVER UK HOUSE OF WORSHIP EXPO

YAMAHA’s Professional Music Division is joining forces with Ruach City Church to present a unique musical event to inspire music making in the worship community and influence the next generation of great Gospel music makers.

On Saturday 18th February, Yamaha will showcase the newest and most desirable musical instruments and equipment to those with a desire to improve the quality of music presentation and instrumentation in their own creative communities, churches, studios or personal spaces.

The Yamaha PMD HOUSE OF WORSHIP EXPO will take place at Kilburn’s legendary Gaumont State Theatre, a building with a rich musical heritage since the 1940s, where past performers include Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, David Bowie and The Rolling Stones, to name a few. The theatre has recently hosted gospel greats such as Fred Hammond, Donnie McClurkin, Michelle Williams, Miranda Curtis, Ty Tribbett, Jonothan and Jason Nelson, Byron Cage, Sonny Badu, Sammy Okposo, New - Ye, Noel Robinson, Lurine Cato and Guvna B, since becoming the home of RCC.

This is a do-not-miss FREE event where visitors will be entertained with live performances and presentations throughout the day, with the opportunity to see, hear and try a mouthwatering array of Yamaha gear, including the latest Revstar guitars, THR amplifiers and Line 6 guitar processing, DTX electronic drums, Acoustic Drums, Montage synthesizers, PA and music production products. Leading experts from Yamaha will be on hand to offer invaluable hints and tips on playing and achieving the best live and recorded sound.

Ruach City has a large musical outreach across greater London, with bands, choirs and regular educational and seminar activities. The event was conceptualised by Nicky Brown - Musical Director for Ruach City, a highly respected multi-instrumentalist, Producer, Composer and Motivator to really bring the power of Yamaha directly to music makers within the RCC community. Visitors will be able to go hands on and get to grips with everything from Digital Arranger keyboards to Digital Desks for small or large venues.

With music at the heart of services and communal activities, Yamaha has a longstanding relationship and vast experience working with the worship sector, with notable PA and sound design installations including Westminster Abbey, London’s St Giles of The Fields Church and Yamaha Artists such Mo Pleasure - Earth Wind and Fire, Michael Jackson, Bette Midler and Luke Smith - Gospel Master, George Michael, West End and Hannah V - Jessie J, Cee Lo Greene.
